Wireless combined PIR motion detector with photoverification camera

type: 5PIRCAM2202MQ

switch to the manual for the JABLOTRON 100+ system

The product is a wireless component of JABLOTRON system. It serves for the detection of human movement in building interiors and visual alarm confirmation. The camera takes color photos with a resolution of up to 640 x 480 pixels. The camera is equipped with a visible flash. The detector is designed to be installed by a trained technician with a valid Jablotron certificate.

Installation

During the installation pay attention that there should be no obstacles in the detector’s view, such as:

  • items that change temperature quickly (electric stove, gas appliances etc.)
  • objects that move (e.g. waving curtains over the heating, robotic vacuum cleaner)
  • no obstacles obstructing his view of the protected area
  • moving pets

We do not recommend installing the detector:

  • against windows or spotlights
  • in places where air flows (ventilation, air conditioning, vents, leaky doors etc.)

Note: Installation in the corner of a room requires more attention during testing due to possible reflection of flash in the photographed scene (especially in the dark).

Installation procedure:

  1. Open the detector cover by using the latch (6). Do not touch the PIR sensor inside (13) – it could be damaged.
  2. Remove the locking screw (8). Release the PCB by pressing the latch (14).
  3. The recommended installation height is 2.5 m above the floor.
  4. Attach the rear housing part to the wall using screws (vertically, with the cover latch facing downwards).
  5. Insert the PCB back into the rear housing part using the electronics latch (14) and screw the locking screw (8) back. Insert batteries to the battery holder (6).
  6. Close the detector cover, snap into the cover latch and secure with the locking screw (5).
